Highlights

Well, we have officially been in Blacksburg now for two weeeks. We have made so many connections...I already feel like a part of this community. The kids have enjoyed themselves tremendously with activities of swimming, bike riding, sight seeing at all the animals on the bike trails (sheep, horses, cows, and donkeys), playing on the numerous playgrounds, rasberry/blackberry/blueberry picking, library trips, meeting new friends, and today I'm sure they will enjoy hearing the VT pep band and meeting the "official" Hokie. Here are some pictures that highlight our past two weeks.

Our new home for a year
when we returned the U-Haul truck, the kids rode with Seth...they were thrilled

Notice the squid on the truck...the kids thought it was hilarious

rasberry picking

the kids loved this and we made rasberry cobbler as a reward for our hard work

Ella attempting to be a Penn State cheerleader (I love the soccer shin guards with the pretty ballet flats)

Luke as a construction man on the playground

the kids taking a trip to campus on the Heathwood bus...they thought they were so cool
